roseworthy campus

Roseworthy University 125th Anniversary Celebrations

South Australia’s first agricultural college celebrated its 125th anniversary in November 2008. The college hosted a number of events and to celebrate its milestone EventsOz coordinated a successful open day on campus featuring academic displays, campus tours, food and wine, children’s entertainment and live music with a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

Polo in the City

In December 2008 EventsOz hosted this event - a first for South Australia! Following the success of the horse polo series in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, it was Adelaide’s turn to witness the excitement of this high action sport.
Amongst corporate marquees, fine food and French champagne, some of Australia’s best professional polo talent played on the grounds of Nanto Womma Park in North Adelaide. The sport is being embraced In Australia by young urban professionals captivated by the excitement and adrenaline of polo.

OConnell

O'Connell Street Food & Wine Affair

The O'Connell St Food & Wine Affair is now in it's twelfth consecutive year of hosting a fantastic day out for the entire family. O'Connell Street's finest caterers offer cuisine from around the world, each of which is complimented by some of South Australia's best wines. The 2007 Affair was also a standout for music lovers, with jazz trumpeter James Morrison performing for a one-off show. In 2008, the event enjoyed a record crowd of over 4,000 patrons. EventsOz has been managing this event since 2007.

Barossa

Festival Manager 2007 & 2009

The 60 year old event is the longest and oldest wine event held in Australia. During the week-long celebration, some 120 events occur, incorporating Heritage, Music, Culture, Diners, Town Days, and much more. This biennial celebration attracts approximately 30,000 people to the region.

Event Manager since its inception in 2002

On an annual basis, the Adelaide Zoo host four nights of stand-up comedy within its beautiful outdoor surrounds. Patrons enjoy over two-hours of non-stop entertainment while soaking up the unique atmosphere. Now considered a major event during the Adelaide Fringe program.

National

National Railway Museum

In April 2006, the National Railway Museum celebrated the 150th Anniversary of the Adelaide to Port Adelaide Railway Line, the first government owned steam line in Australia. This historical event attended by an estimated 4,000 people was celebrated with a family fun day, re-enactment train journey and an invited guest luncheon.

Tramline Extension

The Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure engaged the services of EventsOz to assist with the management of the official opening of the extension of the tram from Victoria Square to North Terrace. Opened by Premier of SA – Mike Rann, this milestone event was witnessed by 260 invited guests, before then inviting the general public to experience this new service first hand, incorporating a number of activities for the entire family.

Outback

The Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive

As part of 2002’s yearlong celebrations “The Year of the Outback,” EventsOz was contracted by the South Australian Tourism Commission to assist with this flagship event.
EventsOz was responsible for the staging of three significant outdoor concerts along the Birdsville Track to coincide with milestones of the Cattle Drive itself, which incorporated John Williamson in Birdsville, Lee Kernaghan in Mungerannie and Slim Dusty in Marree.
